Range & Status

Syn. R. sphagnophila Kauffman. A widespread but not common species which is easily confused with R. nitida . It is found in association with Willow Salix spp. and Birch Betula spp. in wet areas with Sphagnum . Recently (2007) recorded at Redmoor Nature Reserve (Cornwall Wildlife Trust) near Bodmin.
